Sierra Douglas, Administrative Assistant

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Sierra Douglas grew up with faith at the center of her life, attending Lowry Community Christian Church. These early experiences gave her a heart for service and a deep love for people that continues to guide her.
After graduating from Denver South High School, she continued her education at Clearfield Job Corps and Cross Purpose. Although she excelled in the culinary field, she discovered her true passion was not just creating food, but serving and uplifting others through her work in customer service.
Sierra spent nearly a decade in Reno, Nevada, where she built a life and welcomed her two children, Ahzir and Onyx. Motherhood strengthened her purpose and commitment to raising them with faith, love, and strong values.
After returning to Colorado in 2023, Sierra began the journey to find a school rooted in faith and strong morals. This led her to Inner City Christian School, where she found not only the education she wanted for her children, but also a supportive, family-like community.

Elizabeth Moore, Elementary Teacher:

Elizabeth always wanted to be a teacher. She used to play school with her dolls and friends, and throughout her education, her goal was to become a teacher.
Elizabeth worked in a variety of jobs for several years, but the most satisfying ones were those where she was teaching others how to do something. She even worked as a ski instructor for level 1 skiers.
Elizabeth later began a career in banking, where she worked for over 20 years. While it was a good job, it wasn’t what she truly wanted. So, she returned to school, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, and obtained her teaching license.
Elizabeth went on to teach in Catholic schools for 20 years. She fell in love with teaching and found great joy in seeing a child learn something new.
When Elizabeth saw an opening for a teacher at a small Christian school in Denver, she decided to pursue the opportunity. She desired to teach in an environment where she could openly talk about God and pray with her students, and Inner City Christian School was a perfect fit.

Larysa Mykheienkova, Elementary Teacher:

Larysa was born and raised in Ukraine. It was one of the republics of the ungodly USSR; now it is an independent country. Larysa studied Applied Mathematics at V. N. Karazin National University in Kharkiv, Ukraine, where she also received her master’s degree in the same discipline.
In 1997, Larysa came to the Lord. Then in 1999, she became a math teacher in a private Christian school and started working as a math and vocal tutor. Three and a half years later, she went to work as a deaconess at a church, served as a missionary, helped open new churches, and was a Bible teacher at the “Vision” Christian International University (headquartered in Ramona, CA).
In 2017, Larysa won a green card through the Diversity Lottery and moved to the U.S. in 2018.
Because she didn’t have any friends or relatives, Larysa had to trust in God only. She started working in a Marshall’s store before eventually becoming a department coordinator and a trusted administrative coordinator.
This year, God led Larysa to Inner City Christian School through Church in the City–Beth Abraham, where she serves on the worship team. She is so glad to have the privilege of teaching middle school students Bible, math, science, and music theory.

Aquila Jinkins, Elementary Teacher/Student Success Coach:

Aquila previously taught kindergarten and currently enjoys challenging the 4th-6th grade students to think outside the box, seek God independently, plan for their futures and challenge themselves to do their best work in all things.  She currently serves as the Student Success Coach to help students and teachers identify students who need additional supports, services or accommodations to succeed academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and developmentally.  She holds a B.S. in Political Science from Troy University, and an M.P.A. and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University.  As an attorney and entrepreneur, Mrs. Jinkins brings her experience and expertise into the classroom to provide perspective and unique learning opportunities for her students.  Mrs. Jinkins is a proud wife and mother who enjoys learning Korean, teaching Spanish, and traveling through missions and vacations to places like Honduras, Costa Rica, South Africa, France, England, India, and Mexico.

Tammi Boston, Early Childhood Education Teacher:

Tammi is originally from Alabama and moved here with her family from Biloxi, MS in 2015. She attended Tuskegee University and studied Architecture. While in college, she served in the U.S. Army Reserves 718th Engineering Company stationed at Fort Benning, GA. She is married to Pastor Timothy Boston.  She is the proud parent of three children: Jordan, Ronna, and Jaylon (deceased). Tammi is a member of Jubilee Word of Faith Outreach church and teaches in the children's ministry. She also serves as the Ignite Youth Dance Ministry choreographer. In her spare time, She loves to learn about different cultures through traveling, reading, and trying new cuisines! She is honored and thankful to be a part of the Inner City Staff.

Christine Madrid, Elementary Teacher:

Chris is the 2nd and 3rd-grade teacher at Inner City School. She has a B.S. in Bible and Christian Education from Houghton College and an M.A. in Elementary Education from Colorado College. She has taught for over thirty years in Christian schools in the Denver metro area. She has five children and a host of grandchildren. Besides teaching she enjoys studying the Bible, reading, cooking, playing tennis and pickle ball, and discovering yet unvisited places in Colorado with her husband Thom.

Angel Robinson Garrett, ECE Program Director/Office Administrator:

Though a native of Denver, CO, Angel spent most of her childhood through young adulthood living in Pasadena, CA. She attended both the University of Colorado-Denver and UCLA. Angel worked in the banking and finance industries prior to beginning a career first as a stay-at-home mom in 2005 and then as the head chef at a local childcare facility. When her son was in 2nd grade, she was looking for a Christian school that would teach him structure, build character, discipline, have small class sizes, and gives him the tools he needed to be successful. ICS provided all of these tools and then some. Little did she know that this was the Lord's way of changing her career yet again. In 2017 she received her Director's Certification and is continuing her education in ECE, and has been dubbed the “chef” for the staff. Angel is married and has one son. She enjoys her job, loves the staff, and kids. She is extremely grateful to work for ICS as the office administrator and Day Care Director.

The Inner City School staff are dedicated and loving individuals who care about the future of our children.

Jacquelyn Graham,  Executive Director and Principal:

Jacquie was born and raised in California. She attended City College of San Francisco before moving to Denver. She received her B.A. degree in Communications from Metropolitan State College, Denver in 1981. She began her career in education in 1993 teaching High School English, History, and Bible at Cedarwood Christian Academy and Heritage Christian School. In 1998, she switched careers and worked in full-time ministry at her church as the Administrator for 10 years. In 2007, Ms. Graham received a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Colorado Christian University and joined the Inner City School staff as Principal/Executive Director in January 2008. Jacquelyn enjoys missionary work and has traveled extensively overseas. One of her passions is to take students on overseas mission trips. Jacquelyn has three grown daughters and nine grandchildren. Ms. Graham believes that God directed her to Inner City School and her love for the staff, families, and students grows richer and deeper with every passing year.
