Preschool Program:
Inner City School strongly believes in the importance of early childhood education. ICS is licensed by the state and a provider member of the Denver Preschool Program (DPP). DPP pays tuition for any preschooler living in the city and county of Denver desiring a head start before kindergarten. Our preschool program teaches reading, writing and problem solving skills preparing children for success in Kindergarten and beyond. ICS preschool services children ages 3 ½ to 5 years of age.
Kindergarten – 6th grade
Inner City School’s strong emphasis on academics challenges grade school students to achieve a higher level of academic excellence. Grading scale for grade school is as follows:
94 – 100% A
86 – 93% B
77 – 85% C
70 – 76% D
Below 70% F
Grade school students are also exposed to music, art and computer literacy; as well as Robotics instruction, design, program and competition.
