Our Distinctive
What makes us unique?
ICS sets a high academic standard for each student using ABeka, Saxon and Core Knowledge curriculum.
ICS provides a low multi-cultural student/teacher ratio in each classroom. ICS teachers are degreed and qualified.
ICS incorporates the teaching and principles set forth in the Bible to train children in morality and knowledge. Monthly chapels are designed to involve the children in an interactive way. Classes are assigned a chapel schedule and share with the entire school a spiritual truth through creative expressions in song, dance and plays. Yearly community service projects teach children the importance of giving back to others.
ICS actively pursues donors to help offset the cost of tuition. Grants, scholarships and private donations help subsidize educating children from low-income famiklies. Donors are eligible to receive a child tax credit as a Colorado State income tax deduction.
The human capacity of our organization is seen in the expertise and diversity of our governing board, in the qualification of our staff and in our volunteers. Through this approach, we bring cultural relevance to our program and provide employment in the community. |
